Frank Courtney Photography bio picture

Welcome

Hi, my name is Frank Courtney – the owner of this blog. My aim is to complement my main Wedding & Portrait Photography site and show other styles of photography, as well as discussing things of general photographic interest. I’m a full-time professional photographer but apart from my paid work, I take lots of other photos just for my own interest. I’ll also show some of those photos here.

In the future, I will also start posting some preview wedding pictures of the Bride & Groom - with their permission, of course.

Have a look around, and add some comments to the photos/posts..

Casa Batlló, Barcelona

Had a few days break in Barcelona recently, so thought I’d post a picture here (a bit larger than normal to show the details). Barcelona of course has many Modernist and Gaudi buildings, and this is another imaginative example.

Barry Flanagan Hares in Dublin

This is just a fun photo I took a while ago in Dublin. Thre was an exhibition of Barry Flanagan’s hares from O’Connell Bridge to Parnell Square. This one shows Liberty Hall in the background. The hares are now gone – and Liberty Hall won’t be around for much longer (in its present shape anyway).
